Implementation of Corporate and Business Unit Strategy

• Coordinated a team of over 100 client employees in implementing a newly reengineered maintenance process at over 20 fossil stations in a multi-state territory for a large regulated IOU.
   
• Reorganized a large regulated utility into separate retail and service delivery organizations in anticipation of state-wide deregulation.
   
• Developed market entry strategy for a large integrated oil company to enter utility sector.
   
• Assisted a rural electric cooperative to develop and communicate it's first ever Strategic Plan.

Valuation and Transaction Advisory Services

• Supported a combined gas and electric IOU in the assessment of potential acquisitions as part of a limited partnership structure with private equity funding. Developed financial models to value the acquisition and potential break-up values of various potential targets.
   
• Supported a regulated utility in pursuit of a back-to-basics strategy by developing dispatch and valuation models for approximately two dozen regional power production facilities culminating in acquisition of CCGT facility.
   
• Assisted a large east-coast merchant utility as it refined and developed its generation growth strategy. Specific tasks included modeling the five regional power pools of interest and prioritizing generation targets by fuel type under alternate scenarios.
   
• Assisted an energy holding company to develop a strategic plan for its regulated operations. Tasks included identifying and valuing various business sectors including commercial energy services, retail appliance operations, and commodity supply.

Evaluation and Support of Shared Services

• Assisted an international private equity fund to reengineer front-office and shared service functions in support of its recent acquisition of a regulated UK gas distribution company.
   
• Assisted a large outsourcing service provider in the analysis and support of potential business partnership opportunities.
