• Developed a Guidebook to Expand the Role of Renewables in a Power Supply Portfolio for the American Public Power Association, outlining a methodology and analytic framework for member-owned utilities to increase their use of renewable energy alternatives.

Renewable Environmental Compliance Strategy and Evaluation

• Assisted a large regulated utility to quantify the cost and risk impact of various scenarios as they developed a new environmental policy and commitment to decrease GHG emissions.
   
• Developed a market forecast and assessment of FGD retrofits for a major engineering and construction company.
   
• Evaluated the market and outlook for Landfill Gas Development projects as a consequence of Renewable Portfolio Standards and other environmental legislation.

Environmental Risk Mitigation

• Evaluated the trend for activist shareholder initiatives related to carbon taxes and other environmental exposures and the impact of new coal construction and FGD retrofit forecasts.
   
• Evaluated the impact of Sarbanes-Oxley on regulated utilities' generation strategy and decision making environment.
